BT-300, the modular laptop charger of the future
For creators and gamers, traveling with high-performance laptops has never been a pleasant experience. Easily weighing over 1kg, the power brick is something you cannot get rid of if you need to get any serious stuff done.
But it's already 2023! shouldn't there a be better solution?
Why yes! With the revolutionary AHB architecture GaN technology, we created BT-300. the pocket-sized modular 300W laptop charger.

Size and weight
Developed based on the classified AHB (Asymmetric half bridge) architecture GaN technology Semiconductor Labs, BT-300 is extremely efficient in terms of size and power. As the world's first AHB GaN laptop charger, it outperforms all LLC architecture GaN chargers, becoming the smallest and lightest 300W GaN charger on the market.
With only the size of a mouse, 325g in weight and 460g in travel weight (with a 1.8m cable and a US plug), it is unrivaled in terms of portability.

Power output and efficiency
We will be very honest about the performance details of our BT-300 engineering sample (ES), but please note that this is only an engineering sample and not the final version. There is still a lot of room for optimization.
In short (TLDR),
If your device's original power brick is no more than 300W, BT-300 can handle all situations.
If your device's original power brick is 330W, BT-300 can handle all but the most extreme situations.

Despite its small size, BT-300 packs a serious punch. An extremely high efficiency of over 96% makes it produce much less heat compared with standard chargers.
During our tests, BT-300 ES was capable of running at consistent 300W load with stable temperature, 220V input, 25°C room temperature. It was also capable of a turbo of 350W periodically.

*Disclaimer
If your device's original power brick has a higher power rating than BT-300 (300W), we do not guarantee that BT-300 will work in all situations.
Some hardcore laptop models with RTX 4080/90 + 13980/13900 HX (Alienware M18, ROG Strix Scar 18, etc.) will drain over 350W under very high load, like running benchmarks while charging. This may trigger overheat/overdrive protection for BT-300.
If you still wish to try out BT-300, it is recommended to avoid these extreme situations. There are also ways to limit your laptop's power budget without losing much performance, for example, running at balanced power mode, undervolt your CPU, turn off a few efficiency cores for Intel HX CPUs, or adjust your power budget to a lower level in manual mode.
Balance between power and portability
When designing a charger with such extreme form factors, every extra watt of power will result in noticeably increased size and weight, thus we had to consider the balance between extreme power output and portability.
Some extremist laptops have way higher power limit than others, and with some custom settings and tuning, can easily go over 360W under high load. For example, Alienware M16 with 13900HX + 4080, when fully unlocked, has a 130W+175W power budget, even its original 330W power adapter will be throttling in this situation.
If we have to meet those extreme power requirements, BT-300 would compromise too much on portability. After collecting some feedback and test results, we decided to prioritize portability over max performance. Afterall, BT-300 is designed to be easily carried around, and we shall keep this primary goal.

Extension Modules
Amazing raw spec alone is not enough to make a great product. As designers, we wanted to create both a versatile tool and a cool gadget.
We made BT-300 fully modular, that is, you can decide how it looks, and how it works. With a XT-30 DC port and a quick attach rail system, you can attach different modules to the device within seconds without any tools.

Display module
Bring life to your desk with this stylish LED Display module! You can view your BT-300's current output, average output, and total output on a 2.5-inch 3D LED display with a live bar chart and a dynamic pressure gauge. The data refreshes twice per second.

Charging station module
Why travel with multiple chargers when you only need one! With the charging station module, you can turn your BT-300 into a powerful 3-port PD3.1 charger with a total output of 258W, with 2 Type-C ports and 1 Type-A port.
It is compatible with all standard protocols, including PD3.1/PPS/QC/AFC/FCP/SCP/PE/SFCP, etc.

Plug and cable modules
Using it on the go? in the office or home? or at school? BT-300 has you covered! With US/UK/EU/AU/CN travel plugs and extension cables, you can use BT-300 in any situation.

Compatibility
BT-300 is compatible with 99% of modern gaming laptops of all major brands, including Lenovo, Dell (Alienware), Acer, HP, Asus (ROG), MSI, Razor, XMG, Gigabyte and Apple (140W PD3.1).
If your laptop is from a smaller brand, you can always reach out to us via support@betatek.ltd to check availability.

BT-300 also works in a range of 110-240V, so virtually anywhere in the world

Safety and warranty
BT-300 has multiple protections and has gone through the basic testing, so we are confident that it is ready for all required standards, such as CE, Rhos, FCC, 3C, etc.
We provide 1 year warranty for all Betatek products.
