AHB architecture Prototype

xtk133

Over the past few years, GaN (Gallium Nitride) technologies have become increasingly popular and affordable, and now it is time to make it even better

AHB (Asymmetric half bridge) is a very new architecture designed by Navitas, our partner in this project.

With this new architecture, we are able to fit a highly efficient schematic into a very small package.

This prototype however had many issues, and it took us many months to turn it into an actual product

The Prototype is over 96% in efficiency at 220V, and no lower than 95% in efficiency under mid-high load at 110V. Most laptop chargers only have around 90% efficiency.
