The idea started in 2021, when I wanted to replace the heavy power brick with something small and light, but didn't find anything suitable on the market. After some research and interviews, we found that this is a common issue, and started the project.
As a product designer myself, it didn't take me long to start modelling around.
While waiting for the technical issues to be resolved by our engineer, I took my time and designed over 50 variants of the charger.

This is one of the very early concepts designed in 2021, looks pretty generic, with an inbuilt display and a 5521 DC port for output. It was designed without much knowledge in electronic engineering, and was quickly replaced.

Here are some early concepts of BT-300
The idea was to create a device that stands out among all chargers, while not being so noisy in the eye. I started to have the idea of modular design at the same time. The small modules are not possible in practices as it turns out.
You can easily see the similarities between this and the final version.
The final version of BT-300
The modules where redesigned to be able to actually fit the PCBs. with a complete rework of the aesthetics.
I will write a bit more in the future
